Been a client for over fifteen years. They made me a custom wedding ring, appraised at $15,000. I traded it in for $1350 this month. What they offered me was less than a reputable pawn shop. Made me a pair of diamond earrings for $271.30 from 2 diamonds from the ring. The manager "apologized" for not offering me more on my trade-in, yet would not honor a $100 coupon towards the cost of the earrings. The cost of the earrings included labor and hence he disqualified it from the coupon terms. One can only conclude his "apology" was insincere. Therefore, I cannot recommend VanHorne Jewelers and will not be a repeat client in the future. Profit is acceptable, greed is not.
Buyers beware. This place is overpriced and full of rude employees. Plenty of other jewlery stores, in the area, with courteous employees. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Yesterday, two of my friends and I visited this store. Not only were we totally ignored, but one male associated had the nerve to come toward us and turn his back to us. Never acknowledging us or asked how he could help us. We were looking to buy a diamond bracelet and matching necklace for my mother. It's too bad there are still bigots in the world. I guess all money is not green.
Van Horne was excellent. Their customer service was fantastic. They were quick and very informative. We went to get my fiancé's ring resized. They had it back to us within a few hours. I will certainly go back.
Our experience with Van Horne Jewelers was amazing! My mother had matching rings designed for us. Judy, Kris and designers crafted the perfect rings for us and we couldn't be happier! The jeweler even sized a channel set ring other jewelers said was impossible to size. Thank you for such a happy memory!!!
